When two friends developed a fascination with the rotational molding procedure, Century Plastics was founded in 1975. They created and constructed a straightforward but functional rotational molding machine in an empty garage using a Bunsen burner as the heat source.
The two men made their first rotational molding machine acquisition in 1978, and their first significant contract was to manufacture electrical boxes for British Columbia. Hydro. Early in the 1980s, Richmond, British Columbia-based Century Plastics relocated into a 20,000 square foot manufacturing facility and extended its product line.
Century Plastics is currently one of Western Canada's top producers of molded plastic goods. From fish crates to trash and recycling containers, from battery boxes to blueberry bins, from 2400 gallon vertical storage tanks to 5 gallon potable water tanks,
