Glyn and Sue Davies established Davlec Ltd. in 1983 with the primary focus being the maintenance of electronic control systems used in dairy parlors. The Bulk Tank Power Saver, Davlec's first product, was introduced the following year. This was followed by a series of controls that helped build the company's current broad range of products.
Design and manufacturing were handled internally from the beginning, with a developing staff assembling Davlec's own goods as well as those of customers. For the next twenty-two years, Davlec proved itself as a dependable manufacturer's partner and supplier to numerous dairy and subcontract clients.
Glyn tragically died in 2005, leaving behind a solid, moral business where his daughter Nia served as managing director and Sue as financial director.
