We were once known as The Laser Company, and we had modest beginnings, starting out with one little CO2 laser in the backyard. Philip Whyte started treating a small number of clients with this laser, many of whom are still taking advantage of our services today. A 20W Fibre Laser and a 16,000 RPM CNC Router were among the expensive pieces of equipment that were purchased during a period of consistent growth. The Laser Company moved in 2011 to Cian Park Industrial Estate in Drumcondra due to increased business, where it remained until 2015.

In 2018, The Laser Company changed its name to EFJ Engineering and relocated to the IDA Business & Technology Park in Clonshaugh, Dublin 17, which is close to the M50/Port Tunnel and only 15 minutes from Dublin Airport.
