This includes inventing exclusive innovations including one of the first vinyl siding products made in the United States, creating dual and tri extrusions, providing custom part finishing, and pioneering the early development of wood-plastic composites. Many of these ground-breaking inventions have now evolved into industry norms and served as the basis for well-known national brands and goods.When a new leadership team took over in 2009, the company that had been known as Crane Plastics changed its name to Engineered Profiles, LLC. Several companies (Crane Plastics, CPC Tooling, Crane Building Products, Crane Blending, and Profile Solutions Industries) were merged into one company at this turning point.
