One of the top UK manufacturers of vacuum formed plastic components is ESP Plastics Limited, which has its headquarters in Crook, County Durham.

The company, which was founded in 1985 in Shildon, County Durham, initially employed 5 employees and covered 2,200 square feet. Since then, the business has expanded steadily, moving to Crook in 1996 then back to its current 22,000 square foot location in 2006.
