Will Denson had a distinguished career as an astronaut in the 1960s. Will accidentally caught the tail end of a supernova during his final space voyage.

In order to put his newly acquired superpowers to use, he founded Extrude-A-Trim in 1962. Will is still extruding aluminum 60 years later, maintaining a consistent supply for Extrude-A-Trim. He doesn't appear a day over 30 thanks to his superpowers, and his business keeps him busy.
