Lockport Steel Fabricators, LLC
Illinois
The Herman Family first established Lockport Steel as Steel Fabricators in Lockport, Illinois, in 1943. Lockport Steel was then adopted as their new name. In nearly eight decades of operation, the company has maintained a longstanding pattern of providing our devoted clientele with high-caliber, turnkey solutions. The Herman Family sold the business to the current owners in 2004, and they have since been a mainstay in the community, offering their fabrication services both locally and nationally. One of the partners owned Wil-lan Company (formerly Bending Specialist, LLC) exclusively at the time of acquisition. In 2008, the decision was made to merge with Lockport Steel in order to benefit from the comparable fabrication techniques, tools, and expertise. Following that, Binzel Industries,
Richardson Metals, Inc.
Colorado
Richardson Metals, Inc. was founded in 1980 to supply the electronics metal users in the Colorado area with aluminum, aluminum extrusions, brass, copper, bronze, stainless steel, and plastics. Richardson Metals, a metal service business, quickly established a stellar reputation for quality and service while taking up just 4,500 square feet of rented warehouse space.
Due to its success, Richardson Metals needed more space, so in 1984 it constructed a 14,400 square foot warehouse and office that it still uses today. More than 150 businesses, including Ampex, Digital Equipment, Hewlett-Packard, Kurt Manufacturing, Maxcor, Texas Instruments, and Western Forge, have purchased its products. Richardson Metals has served as a "Just-In-Time" supplier for numerous clients.
