At the end of 2019, Incus was established around Lithography-based Metal Manufacturing (LMM), a novel metal additive manufacturing technique that lowers production costs and turnaround times for small and mid-scale metal additive manufacturing.
The Hammer Lab35, the company's first flagship 3D printing product, began shipping in March 2020. Serial machine production began in 2021. The Incus team has expanded from 6 to more than 25 professionals from different countries in the previous two years. The capacity of the industrial facilities in Vienna, Austria's newest innovation cluster has recently increased. Incus is attempting to scale up to mass production with these increases in capability and knowledge.
