Josef Schwarz launched the business in 1978. The portfolio quickly expanded from folding carton production to plastics processing and traditional printing processes due to its adaptable market and demand orientation.

The business, which is currently engaged on a global scale, relocated to its current location in the Bünde-Ennigloh industrial district in 1991. With a current area of 3,200 m2, the expandable area provides plenty of room for the growth of production and storage capacities.
