About Company

When brothers George, Lewis, and Paul introduced the first plastic material to be utilized in shoulder pads for the Green Bay Packers, the Janco Company was born. Janco started to diversify in 1966, moving from plastic fabrication to electronics assembly and manufacturing services. During the 1970s, Janco created some of the earliest printed circuit boards for IBM using FR4 material and hand-built mainframe core memory modules.

Lewis E. Janetos established Janco Electronics as a distinct business in 1985 as the electronics industry expanded and started to depart from plastics. Lewis remained the company's manager until 2001, when his son Rollins became the new president. Rollins has assisted the company's transformation into the diverse contract over the past 20 years.
