In 1982, a foundry called Kens Metal Industries Limited was established; it produced, stored, and delivered Cast Iron, Brass, Bronze, and Aluminium. We started out as a machine shop and a foundry for sand casting. We began pressure die casting of brass and aluminium in 1984, and a small brass extrusion press was also constructed at that time.

A year later, a tool room with milling, spark erosion, and pantograph machines was established. Brass fittings and decorative architectural brass work were the bulk of our sales between 1984 and 1996. We started warehousing and supplying ferrous and nonferrous products in 1996. Additionally in 1996, we installed our first continuous casting system for copper-based alloys.
