Murrietta Circuits was established in 1980 as a circuit board design service by current President Albert G. Murrietta. He started to expand the company in the early 1980s, making purchases like a new, 2,000 square foot building and cutting-edge workstations and software.
Mr. Murrietta seen the company's growth treble by the late 1980s. Murrietta started making preparations in 1987 to expand his company into a full-service manufacturer. Murrietta Circuits formally entered the PCB manufacturing business in less than two years. The only thing left to do was to put the pieces together once he had completed the design, engineering, and production phases.
In order to fully manage a range of circuit board assembly tasks, early 1990s saw the introduction of automated pick-and-place machinery, reflow ovens, and BGA rework stations.
