PDM Acrylic sheets are clear, flat plastic sheets composed of the synthetic polymer polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). Common trade names for them include Lucite, Perspex, and Plexiglass. PDM Acrylic sheets come in different thicknesses and can be stained, colored, or transparent. Some people refer to it as "extruded acrylic sheet" and "cast acrylic sheet" since it is a multipurpose plastic sheet that has many advantages and uses and is made using the extrusion and casting processes. Similar to polycarbonate sheets, this material has a lesser impact strength, a better surface hardness, and a better pricing.
