Who we are
Polyplas Extrusions was established nearly 30 years ago by Graham and Helen Tidman occupying one unit with two extrusion lines.
Over the years the company has experienced steady growth, now occupying a purpose-built factory completed in 2006.
In 2013 the founding directors sold the business to the Nenplas group, a larger and longer-established extrusion company having three UK manufacturing sites and within whom Polyplas continued to trade under its own name. In December 2016, Nenplas was acquired by the Surteco SE group, a Frankfurt stock-exchange listed company specialising in surface technologies in paper and plastics.
As a vertically integrated company with design facilities, our own tool-room, plastic extrusion manufacture and our own transport, we provide a complete package from design to delivery.
Soon after our incorporation we were accredited to BS5750 and currently hold the latest standard of BS EN ISO 9001:2015.
What we do
Principally partners in offering custom designed plastic extrusions in profile form, we augment these with selected standard profiles (e.g. glazing seals, angles, channels, tubes). Our design input is a pro-active measure to help achieve best value and optimal cost/performance ratio in the finished component.
