Back in 1989, when I began my career, there were just three of us working for a firm that made reel-to-reel equipment. After expanding to 15 employees in 1994, the company underwent a challenging transition.

I began collaborating with one of the other company's founders in 1995. He founded Selectives LLC, which produced barrel and rack tanks, wheels, and reel-to-reel lines. The business expanded, but he maintained it at 4 or 5 people.

I acquired the plastic fabrication divisions in 2014 and rebranded the company as Polytech. 

Selectives is still available today.
