Premier Extrusion was created after the extrusion division of Premier Plastics was split off in 2010.  Since 1987, Premier Plastics has been active in the extrusion of plastics, commencing with PVC strip doors that are widely used in local grocery stores around Australia.  In the 2000s, Premier Plastic acquired Induflex Plastics to broaden their large product line by adding flooring accessories and bottle cap wadding. They also expanded their die line to include tubes.

Since 2010, Premier Extrusion has expanded its polymer base processed and clientele served year over year.

Among those clients is a burgeoning export market to the USA, Thailand, and New Zealand.

In order to become the sole Australian manufacturer of micro foamed extruded products, Premier Extrusion invested in cutting-edge foaming machinery in 2014.
