Fifteen years ago, Jason Bailey founded a family business under the name Baileys Plastic Factory, which was rebranded in 2018 as Van Island Plastic Factory Ltd. (VIPF). The company is dedicated to ensuring the safety of its employees and maintaining an environmentally responsible workplace. In 1999, Jason relocated his family from the Lower Mainland of Vancouver to Campbell River, seeking a strong family-oriented community to raise his daughters. With extensive experience in construction, welding, and plastic fabrication across chemical plants and plastic factories in Canada and the United States, Jason brought a high level of technical expertise rarely found in smaller business communities. Baileys Plastic Factory began in 2005 in Jason’s garage and has experienced significant growth over the years. Five years ago, the business moved into a 3,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility south of Campbell River, providing expanded capabilities to meet the evolving needs of its clients.
