Using assistance from their parents James and Estelle Wyse, brothers David S. Wyse and Harold Wyse founded Projects Unlimited, Inc. in 1951 as a continuation of the then-defunct Wyse Laboratories, an aircraft parts business established in the 1940s that supplied parts to the Army Air Corp and other military customers.

The business is currently run by its third generation of family members and is in its fourth generation of operation in the aerospace and defence sector.  Projects Unlimited Inc., a company founded on family principles that haven't changed since the 1950s, supplies mission-critical electronics to numerous defence contractors, top aviation companies, the US Government, and other governments. These electronics include circuit card assemblies (CCA), cables, harnesses, and integrated box assemblies.
