In a facility on St. Catherine Street, Canadian Buttons, Ltd. was founded in the 1900s, carving and drilling celluloid buttons. Over the years, Canadian Buttons has changed, becoming hangers as Canadian Plastics, Inc. and buttons for fur coats and other plastic things essential for the war effort.

Pool accessories and other compression, injection, extrusion, or blow molded parts and products are currently produced under Champlain Plastics, Inc. and distributed to builders, distributors, mass merchandisers, and retailers of pools and spas in 23 countries worldwide, including the United States, Canada, and Europe.
