In the 1940s, Explas was first known as Etholex. After renaming it and shifting it around, Wayne Macpherson acquired it in 1988. We quickly relocated to a bigger plant, and through the years, it gradually expanded to become the prosperous family business it is today.

Explas is a truly Australian business with no influence on the environment. This is accomplished by using rainwater tanks, off-peak electricity, and without dumping any waste in landfills.
