Since its founding in 1985, it has undergone a number of modifications to its corporate name and partners, which have been in line with different stages of its years of existence:

Movimoldes (1985–1992), which coincided with the establishment of the business.

This phase of RGE - Engenharia de Moldes, Lda (1993-2015) was marked by the admission of a British partner after the company had already begun its export phase.

Given that GA Moldes, Lda is currently a family firm, this phase of the company's development since 2015 coincides with the departure of the British partner and a strategic reorientation aimed at diversifying its markets.
