In 1997, Jimdi Plastics was established. It was established to manufacture a patented flooring system for the agriculture sector with the goal of performing custom injection molding for additional clients. Jimdi Plastics initially rented a 6,000-square-foot factory with five presses in Jenison, Michigan. In the first five years, we expanded rapidly, going from four personnel to fifteen. Jimdi Plastics relocated to Allendale, Michigan in November 2001, and following a recent expansion, our current space is 40,000 square feet. We employ 60 people and have 16 presses that range in size from 110 to 1100 tons. The capacity to be adaptable and provide high-quality goods on schedule has contributed to Jimdi Plastics' growth.
