In 1990, Liboplast Plastic Industries was founded to create several types of plastic. In 2003, a facility that made PET for various uses was established. It was Libya's first plant to produce these goods. The plant employs the greatest, most cutting-edge German technologies, which are operated by robots, to achieve the highest levels of accuracy.

We were compelled to halt production from February 2011 until May 2012 when we were able to resume it due to the revaluation and the damage to our factory. Currently, we produce 5000 tons of different PET performs—used for a variety of purposes—each year.
