Renato, a proud resident of Canada, was born and received his tool-making education in Maribor, Slovenia. He made the decision to immigrate to Australia in 1968 out of a desire to travel the world. He truly started to study his craft of mould making in Australia.
He worked for Diecraft Australia, a division of Tupperware Company International, British Plastics, a sizable moulding operation producing household plastic products, and Fisher Tool and Die Company Mould Maker, a supplier of injection moulds to the Australian Automotive Industry, GM Holden, and Chrysler, over the course of the following seven years.
He made the decision to set out on the road once more in 1976 because he had always wanted to reside in British Columbia, Canada.
