Robert E. Chick Sr. formed PlasTech Molding Solutions, formerly known as R.E.C. Manufacturing Corporation, in 1943. PlasTech Molding Solutions has over 70 years of experience in custom injection molding. What makes it unique in the molding industry is the combined experience of its expert staff, who have over 100 years of experience in custom molding. This experience spans from the 1940s when compression molding was developed to the 1950s when injection molding was introduced, and up to the current demand for high-performance products, which includes thin-wall complex geometry applications. Our state-of-the-art 40,000 square foot facility has 29 injection molding machines ranging in weight from 22 tons to 10,000 tons, several class 10,000 soft wall clean rooms, and a fully furnished metrology lab.
