On the grounds of the former Udarnik plant, OJSC Minsk Plant Thermoplast was established in September 1944 under the name Minsk Oxygen Plant, specializing in the generation of oxygen.

The "Metal Products Plant" was established in 1947 and started creating the aluminum cookware that was so important in the immediate post-war period.

The facility was moved to the area where it is now situated in 1953 (Minsk, Knorina Street, 50).
