A group of Coca-Cola bottlers founded Western Container Corporation in 1979 as a P.E.T. (polyethylene terephthalate) preform and bottle manufacturing company in response to the long-term demand for a dependable supplier of high-quality, affordable P.E.T. bottles. Our partners in Coca-Cola bottling continue to own us in whole.
WCC's corporate offices are in Sugar Land, Texas, and we have four production sites there as well as in Houston, Texas, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Tolleson, Arizona, and Fife, Washington.
WCC Houston was founded in 1984 as a plant that only produced blow moulds; injection moulding was later added in 2013. Each year, Houston produces over 1 billion bottles and preforms.
In 1998, WCC Hattiesburg became operational as a preforms and bottle supply combined factory.
