Ken Mease, a native of Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, created Selmax Corporation. Ken attended Susquehanna University after completing his education at Selinsgrove Area High School. He proudly served his country in the Army Air Corps during World War II. After the war, Ken went back home to Mildred to begin a family.

Selmax started out as a machine-tool facility in 1971, but the company swiftly grew to offer services and equipment for plastic injection moulding. In order to build Selmax into what it is now, Ken adopted cutting-edge technologies and industry best practises.

In addition to becoming the CEO of Selmax, Ken's commitment to helping the community led him to hold the positions of mayor and borough councilman for Selinsgrove for a number of years. "Made in the USA" is a given.
