Although we started out as a tool design office in 2003, we have been involved in tool production since the 1960s. József Simonetz, a tool manufacturer with more than 50 years of experience, is one of the pillars of this family-run firm.

Szatunaplex Kft. was established in 1998 as a result of the privatisation of a significant chemical company's Plexiglas manufacturing facility. The air deflector producer Szatuna Kft., who was the product's biggest customer at the time, bought it primarily to satisfy its own raw material requirements. The factory, the only one in Hungary, has been making moulded plexiglass sheets since the 1960s. However, this smaller plant was treated like a "stepchild" by the big chemical sector, getting little support and resources for growth.

They can be utilised as partition walls in canteens, transfer windows in pharmacies, post offices, and other service stations, among other places.

We provide translucent plastic sheets (Polycarbonate, PMMA, PET-G) that have been cut to size and include apertures and perforations. Edge bending is another method for shaping the sheets. With double-sided sticky tapes, the protective walls can be attached to the existing furnishings. A protective sheet with a transfer window was positioned between pieces of existing furniture in the middle image.
