After two venerable Vimpeläinen firms merged in 2008, Plastec Finland Oy was created. The businesses were Kuitusaro Oy, which began vacuum forming in 1985, and Samu-Tuote Oy, which began making injection moulds in 1995. Plastec Finland Oy was created by combining the two businesses' extensive experience and knowledge.

In 1972, Wiitta was established in Saarijärvi, Finland. We first produced pipe fittings before growing into contract manufacturing. Our factories are currently open in Finland's Kuivaniemi and Heinola. Heinola is where our main office is situated.

KTM Mechanical Engineering (KTMME) is a stand-alone consulting firm with a focus on the engineering of fixed equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and pipelines). KTMME offers design, drafting, and maintenance support services for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and pipes to clients in a variety of industries, including water, mining, oil, and gas.

When necessary designs are carried out in accordance with industry standards such AS1210, ASME VIII, PD5500, and ASME B31.3.

The director has completed projects for Pertamina, Air Liquide, and Singapore LNG internationally as well as locally for Woodside, Chevron, BP, Alcoa, and others. Basic structural designs and fabrication support for piping were included in the overseas work.
