Currently, PT Proteknik Mega Persada is entrusted to build an Assembly and Service Center (ASC), which is a representative of SIEMENS Simogear Geared Motor products in Indonesia. Becoming the first and the only one in Indonesia, ASC is particularly built to meet the industry’s demand in terms of assembly and Service, especially for Geared Motor products (SIMOGEAR) as the replacement for Motox Geared Motors. SIMOGEAR geared motors are the next generation of Motox geared motors which offers improvement in terms of efficiency, size, and price. Compared to its former generation, the new SIMOGEAR comes in smaller size with higher efficiency, and thus saving more operational cost.

They settled in a small workshop on the banks of the Cher and elaborated friction bronzes in the form of pads.

The addition in 1945 of a machining unit made it possible to offer reference customers such as MICHELIN - DUNLOP - CREUSOT-LOIRE - USINOR finished products.

In 1952 the company developed sand casting of alloys with a high lead content and from 1985, pure coppers and structurally hardened coppers.

These developments necessited a new establishment in the industrial zone of COMMENTRY in 1987.

In 1994, the company was acquired by LES BRONZES D'INDUSTRIE (LBI), a specialist in the centrifugation of non-ferrous and stainless steels, and became SAINT-REMY INDUSTRIE (SRI).

This new impetus allows, thanks to significant investments in electrical fusion

and CNC machining, to develop: . cupro aluminium on the markets of the naval industry

and hydraulics, . high conductivity coppers in medium and high voltage electrical equipment as well as welding equipment for the automotive industry.

The company was certified ISO 9002 in 1997 and today: ISO 9001 version 2015.

Finally, a complementarity of manufacturing and a synergy of commercial development with LBI allows SAINT-REMY INDUSTRIE to ensure its export development.
