Bert and Glenn Keats established the Keats Manufacturing Company on Cicero Avenue on the northwest part of Chicago on October 1, 1958. Keats Manufacturing began as a modest retail facility with only three personnel and two equipment. However, in order to satisfy the demand and the variety of our clients, our business has expanded significantly over the years:
In 1989, Keats relocated to 350 Holbrook Road in Wheeling, Illinois, where we are now.
In order to better service the southwestern United States and the maquiladora assembly market, Keats Southwest in El Paso, Texas, opened in 1994.

Established in 1967 in a 2,500 square foot space in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Decimal Engineering, Inc. It remained in Fort Lauderdale but relocated to a 4,000 square foot building a few years later.
Arthur L. Garey quit the corporate world in 1980 and bought Decimal to start his own company. Garey divided ownership by giving his boys Alan, Mark, and Kevin 30% each and keeping 30% for himself and his wife, Priscilla.
Garey updated his small company shortly after by acquiring some automated machinery. Decimal soon outgrew the 4,000 square foot building after this "modernization," which prompted Garey to grow, increasing the building's total square footage to 7,600.
After a few years, Decimal's rapid expansion compelled them to move to Pompano Beach, Florida, where they bought
